Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens Endorses Dr. Ken Williams for Re-Election to OC Board of Education

Orange County, CA (May 4, 2016) – Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens has endorsed Dr. Ken Williams for re-election to the Orange County Board of Education Trustee Area 3 seat in the June primary.
"Through Dr. Williams's vision and leadership, Orange County has an emergency communication system in our school districts and schools," Hutchens said. "He worked hard with our department to make campus and student safety a priority. I am proud to endorse him because of his commitment to public safety, drug-free schools and public education."
"As a reserve sworn law enforcement officer, public safety has always been very important to me," Williams said. "I have fought to keep campuses safe and sex offenders away from our children. I am honored to have public officials like Sheriff Hutchens endorse me for my re-election."
As a member of the Orange County Board of Education, Williams has led the Orange County Department of Education as the fiscally proven member of the governing board. His voting record as a governing county board member reflects his pledge for "No New Taxes" and the fiscal viability of the county department of education.
Williams is a home-grown community leader and native of Orange County who graduated from the county's public schools. He is a primary care physiican in private medical practice since 1986, and is on the medical staff at St. Joseph Hospital, Hoag Hospital, and family practice department chairman at Children's Hospital of Orange County.
Trustee Area 3 consists of the cities of Brea, Irvine, Orange, Villa Park, and Yorba Linda; the communities of Anaheim Hills, El Modena, North Tustin, and Orange Park Acres; and portions of Lake Forest, Tustin, and Orange County's canyon communities.
